Align your knowledge with current practice

You'll explore the theoretical foundation of contemporary management thinking in the unique context of law enforcement, emergency service and security organisations. This will draw on the history of management theory, the evolution in thinking about management in the public sector and major developments in governance and accountability in law enforcement and security organisations in Australia and overseas. You'll refine your skills and knowledge towards the revision, analysis, consolidation and synthesis of knowledge and understanding of law enforcement and security and identify and provide appropriate responses to complex challenges.

OR An unrelated undergraduate degree or equivalent, together with at least 5 years experience in policing or security. OR Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security).
