Tips for working out your study dates
There can be lots of dates to keep track of when you study online. You can follow these steps to get started.
Work out your study level
Undergraduate dates are for undergraduate certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, associate degrees, and bachelor degrees.
Postgraduate dates are for graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, masters degrees, and juris doctors.
Find your university
Once you’ve selected the right study level, look for your university’s name in the list above.
Some unis use a combination of their own study terms and the Open Universities Australia study terms. If you’re unsure which dates apply to your degree, contact a student advisor.
Check the dates for all your subjects
Some degrees include subjects from a mix of universities. Make sure to check the study dates for each uni you’re studying with, as the dates can be different.
Check back for updates
Universities may change their dates during the study year.
It’s a good idea to check study dates several times a year, ideally when you’re getting close to your next study term.
