About this subject
Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:
- Apply knowledge and skills in teaching to a practical TESOL context by planning and implementing a learning sequence.
- Implement ethical, inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practice in a TESOL context.
- Critically reflect on your teaching in a TESOL context.

In this subject, you are required to undertake a minimum of 60 hours of work-integrated learning (WIL) experience in a setting that is relevant to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Through mentoring provided by the course coordinator and a teacher in a TESOL setting, you will experience the integration of theory of TESOL in practice. Should you wish to undertake this WIL in a P-12 school setting, you are required to undertake a Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check (Volunteer).
