The Master of Engineering Practice (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) has been accorded full accreditation at the level of Professional Engineer by Engineers Australia. As a graduate of the Master of Engineering Practice program, you will be eligible to apply for Professional Engineer (MIEAust) membership with Engineers Australia. On attaining MIEAust, if you MEPR workplace portfolio indicates your work experience in your field may benchmark to equivalent to Stage 1 Experienced Professional Engineer, you will be able to accelerate your application for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) Stage 2 Experience Professional Engineer. You will also have the opportunity to work overseas, with your accreditation recognised in the countries that are signatories to the Washington Accord.
