The Master of Education (Inclusive Education) (Advanced) provides the opportunity for existing teachers, education practitioners or other professionals to upskill, enhance research ability and develop proficiency in specific areas of education theory and practice. The course includes a solid foundation in the research of inclusion, leadership and social justice, providing knowledge and skills that empower you to enact change in program, policy and project design.

Inclusive Education

Through an inclusive lens this course has a strong focus on supporting autistic and neurodivergent individuals and those with mental health conditions. A person-centred approach is used throughout this course to help introduce the skills required when supporting individuals with a range of additional learning needs. This course is informed by current evidence based research and pedagogy, and consultation with neurodivergent communities.

• AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australia University; OR 
• An equivalent overseas higher education qualification; OR 
• Combination of formal (below AQF7) or non-formal qualifications and three yeas of relevant professional experience includes those who are currently working in education-related fields and teachers holding alternative qualifications.
