During this course:

This course offers foundational theoretical and technical knowledge and skills in research. During your studies you will undertake four research training units. You will gain an understanding of literature, future research requirements and research proposal writing, as well as the analytical and communication skills required in future research. On completion you will be equipped to work in research-related fields and support researchers with foundation research skills.

Recommended study pattern
The Graduate Certificate of Research Studies course structure is six months (40 credit points) in duration (normally full time). Eight subjects (10 credit points each) per year is deemed a normal full-time load.Award requirements
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate of Research Studies (GCRS21), the candidate must complete satisfactorily a course of study that comprises 4 core subjects. A combined total of 40 credit points is required.Open Universities Australia is a not-for-profit organisation. You will not pay any fees for using our services.
