Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration

The Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration is a 12-month course designed to quickly build your skills and prepare you for real-world design projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience using industry-standard digital drawing and 3D rendering software, tailored specifically for residential spaces. This qualification serves as an ideal stepping stone for launching your career in the interior design industry, giving you the tools and confidence to tackle real-world design challenges.

Recommended study pattern

The Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration course structure comprises of 8 core subjects, 7 subjects at Level 100, and 1 subject at level 200, including a live brief or internship.

Award requirements

To be awarded the Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration, students must complete 80 credit points over 8 subjects as outlined in the course structure. Each subject has a value of 10 credit points.
