Course duration: 2 trimesters Accelerated, 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time.
Recommended study pattern
The Diploma of Business (Hospitality and Tourism Management) course structure comprises 7 core subjects and 1 elective subject.
Electives may be chosen from any of the other Bachelor of Business suite of courses or other TUA undergraduate courses (pre-requisites permitting). Electives chosen from other TUA courses must have prior approval from the Program Director or delegate.
The program can be completed in a one-year duration (normal full-time). 8 subjects (10 credit points each) per year is deemed a normal full-time load. Students can also fast-track the completion of the degree by taking 4 subjects (40 credit points) per trimester over two trimesters.
Award requirements
To be awarded the Diploma of Business (Hospitality and Tourism Management) students must complete 8 subjects, achieving 80 credit points in total. Each subject has a value of 10 credit points.
