Diploma in Accounting

Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to:

1. demonstrate key knowledge of the accounting discipline, at the fundamental level, to start a career in accounting and embark upon professional development and professional practice;

4. communicate accounting advice and ideas in straightforward collaborative contexts involving various stakeholders, while working under guidance, at the fundamental level; and
5. reflect on performance feedback to identify and action learning opportunities and self-improvements, under guidance.

The skills you develop through the UNE Diploma in Accounting are fundamental to understanding introductory streams of financial and management accounting, finance and related business areas, helping managers make strategic business decisions and helping people stay in control of their money.

Candidates who meet the course requirements shall be awarded the Diploma in Accounting.

To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 48 credit points (8 units).
