About this degree
Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to:
- demonstrate key knowledge of the accounting discipline, at the fundamental level, to start a career in accounting and embark upon professional development and professional practice;
- use judgement to solve familiar accounting problems in straightforward contexts, under guidance, using social, ethical, economic and global perspectives;
- select and apply integrated theoretical and technical accounting knowledge, under guidance, across a range of related areas at the fundamental level;
- communicate accounting advice and ideas in straightforward collaborative contexts involving various stakeholders, while working under guidance, at the fundamental level; and
- reflect on performance feedback to identify and action learning opportunities and self-improvements, under guidance.

Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)

If you are admitted into this course and believe you have already completed the equivalent of one or more of the units in your Course Structure (Program of Study) within the last ten years, you can apply for Individual Unit Advanced Standing.
