The Bachelor of International Business is designed to produce graduates who want to pursue a career in international business management. Bachelor of International Business

The Bachelor of Health Service Management provides general foundation studies in a broad range of areas within the health service industry, including; determinants of health and health promotion; health service policy planning and evaluation; business development, economic and financial management; data analytics to inform decision making; human resource management; and strategic leadership.The Health Service Management program will provide the skills to measure the health of populations, understand how social, cultural, and economic factors influence contemporary health problems in Australia and internationally, and develop practical skills in health promotion, health educational strategies, and the management of health services.The program is designed to provide professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes that underpin the role of health service managers. Graduates acquire contemporary leadership and management skills and knowledge to enable beginning-level practice in a wide variety of health care settings.

This course uses a life cycle perspective of the firm to develop students&#39; understanding of the interrelated nature of the different business disciplines required to establish and grow a business successfully. With the use of an online business simulation game, student groups compete with each other in growing a business in a virtual world while learning about the role of entrepreneurship, strategy, marketing, finance, business structures, management, accounting, taxation, and exit and succession planning. The course will appeal to those who are interested in starting up their own business, as well as those intending in becoming business advisers, leaders or policymakers.

Learn how the pieces of a successful business fit together. Explore the business lifecycle and the part each major business discipline plays. From inception to maturity, see where marketing, finance, management, law and other business topics fit.

Business Lifecycles

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the principles and practices of contemporary human resource management with a specific focus on the strategic role that it plays in helping organisations build and maintain competitive advantage. The course will explore the theory and practice of human resource management across the following areas: workforce planning; ethical and legal frameworks for HRM; employee selection; training and development; performance management; compensation; employee relations; diversity management; health, safety, and wellbeing; employee separation; and HRM in a global environment.

Human Resource Management

Business Information Systems &amp; Management is a foundation course that overviews the critical aspects of Information Management and Information Systems needed in all businesses in the 21st century. While primarily a business course, there will be consideration of the technical aspects necessary to be able to liaise meaningfully with IT departments and personnel. The predominant focus of the course will be the ability to leverage technology for business purposes. The course includes fundamental information management skills (eg: Spreadsheets &amp; Databases) and focuses on the use of information to make business decisions and solve business problems.

Business Information Systems and Management

The course provides a broad introduction to operations management and the associated tools and techniques that support the design, planning, and improvement of systems or processes. The course develops awareness of the different aspects of operations, including; process flow, scheduling, inventory, layout, and risk, and explores ways in which these can be represented to improve business decision making. Students will develop systematic and critical thinking skills essential to understanding, managing, and improving operations in a broad range of industries and business contexts.

Business Operations Management

The objective of the course is to provide an introductory knowledge of accounting to students of all disciplines such as business, professions, arts, engineering, health, medical, and sciences. A general overview of accounting principles relating to the preparation of financial and managerial reports will be presented. The primary focus is to illuminate how accounting information is utilised by a variety of stakeholders in planning, controlling, and investing decisions. Topics include accounting information in its decision-making context, a record of accounting transactions, understand and analyse of financial statements, cost behaviour, determination of product costs, cost-volume-profit analysis, performance management, and budgeting.
