If you are from a non-accounting background or do not have a hold a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) accredited undergraduate degree with a major in accounting, the Master of Professional Accounting conversion program will give you the training in accounting and related areas needed to meet the academic requirements for Associate membership with Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia and admission to Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia&#39;s Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Program, and the Chartered Accountants (CA) Program of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.This program will enable you to develop the technical and conceptual skills needed to become an accountant and will develop your ability to analyse, critique and synthesise various accounting and related principles, methods and techniques.The program has a foundation component (Graduate Certificate of Commerce) which allows those without a prior degree in Accounting (or equivalent) and those looking for a career change to participate. Master of Professional Accounting

Agribusiness is the study of consumers, retailers, marketers, and primary producers - and the business of keeping the chain working profitably. This program meets the needs of three groups of professionals: those working in agribusiness who wish to upgrade their management skills; those wishing to redirect their careers into agribusiness; and new graduates in either business or agricultural/rural science wishing to add to their employment prospects. Students have opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills and practice; to develop their careers; and to deliver better and more profitable outcomes for Australian agribusiness. Students learn to locate, interpret, synthesise and apply information from a variety of sources. Graduates demonstrate a high level of specialised knowledge of agribusiness management, and business and communication skills associated with selected areas of study.

Graduate Certificate in Agribusiness

The Graduate Certificate in Accounting is a course that will service the needs of students requiring four or fewer units for accreditation with the professional accounting bodies. It can serve as an entry and exit point for the Master of Professional Accounting. The course comprises four units (that is 24 credit points) and is usually used to supplement existing studies in accounting to satisfy the entry requirements of the professional accounting organisations. Subjects are drawn from the Master of Professional Accounting and may cover introductory as well as advanced units in accounting, finance, systems, law, auditing, economics and business statistics.Please Note: This program can only be studied part time.
