The undergraduate certificate is a higher education qualification that was introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It allows students to complete a credible qualification from trusted Australian universities without prior study experience in just six months, before choosing to graduate or use this as credit towards a bachelor degree.
Late last year, the government took the opportunity to review the qualification, to discern whether it continued to meet the needs of Australians.
Good news: undergraduate certificates are here to stay
It has been decided by the Australian Government that the undergraduate certificate will continue to be offered in 2025 and beyond.
