About this subject
Upon successful completion of this subject, the student should be able to:
- Apply acquired skills, capabilities and knowledge from university studies to a work-based project
- Critically analyse learned skills and knowledge required to complete a practical work-based project.
- Communicate in discipline and context specific language within a work-based project.
- Module 1: An introduction to the placement program, assessment items and expectations for the semester
- Module 2: Employability Skills, LinkedIn, Introduction of Context, Action and Result (CAR)
- Module 3: Reflection, Resume and Interview application Context, Action and Result (CAR) technique
This subject is available in a number of postgraduate degrees, HDR, or combined postgraduate degrees, offered by the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE).
You will undertake a work-based project with a public, private or not-for-profit business. Placements are matched and related to your course with a designated placement mentor from the organisation supporting student learning during the placement period. The subject is at level 700 and integrates work and learning.
