About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Apply your knowledge to critically analyse the aged care sector
    2. Appraise the contemporary policy, reforms and systems dynamics in the aged care sector and define the elements of corporate governance
    3. Describe the role and importance of governance in the public and private aged care sectors, and how it contributes to the development and operation of an aged care organisation
    4. Integrate the principles of corporate governance with the responsibilities of senior management
