At the completion of this subject you should be able to:
1. Identify the key learning theories underpinning educational practice.
2. Critique the similarities and differences between the health professions, and other professions and the potential impact on student learning.
3. Evaluate why the health professions might need unique pedagogical approaches.
4. Describe the role of clinical reasoning in pedagogical practice.
5. Articulate a personal educational philosophy for facilitating learning in the health professions.
6. Engage in continuous improvement of pedagogical practices through self-reflection.
