About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, students will be able to:

    1. read a large volume of Japanese texts with improved comprehension skills at their individual proficiency levels;
    2. display increased knowledge of vocabulary and grammatical structures in context at their individual proficiency levels;
    3. display improved recognition of kanji characters in context at their individual proficiency levels; and
    4. display increased socio-cultural knowledge and awareness.

To enrol in this subject you will need to pass the Prerequisite/s. Please note as UNE results are released after the close of enrolment date, your enrolment into this subject will be withdrawn if you do not pass the prerequisite subject/s.
First language (Japanese) speakers require permission from the Unit Coordinator to enrol in this unit.
