About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate a broad and coherent understanding of theoretical, methodological and conceptual knowledge central to the religious studies discipline;
    2. critically review, analyse and synthesise knowledge about the academic study of religion thereby demonstrating autonomy, objectivity and reflective practice;
    3. apply critical and creative thinking in undertaking research; and
    4. formulate and communicate clear and cogent written arguments consistent with the academic study of religion.
