About this subject
Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
- curate a compelling professional identity and philosophy, and demonstrate the ability to critically communicate this to both specialist and non-specialist audiences;
- develop and advocate for change in a professional context;
- engage with and demonstrate leadership in professional practice; and
- critically reflect on professional knowledge and practice.
- Topics are only available to enrolled students in the unit Moodle site.
This subject provides you with a self-paced learning experience in tandem with guided discussion with an assigned Academic Success Advisor. With their guidance, you will construct a personalised assessment structure, articulate your career goals, determine which skills you need to meet those goals and identify which additional subjects best equip you with those skills. The subject is designed to enhance your skills and knowledge as a professional for both current and future workplaces. It provides a framework within which your individual suite of elective subjects combine to demonstrate your unique professional persona. Your study culminates in the curation of your own portfolio to highlight your professional capabilities. An ideal way to present your skills to future employers.
