About this subject
On completion of this subject you will be able to:
- analyse the range of enterprise skills you will require in the context of your future career(s)
- select and engage with career learning experiences to develop and communicate employability skills relevant to your industry
- critically reflect on and evaluate your career learning progress with a focus on future changes in the world of work.
- Evaluate the current graduate employment market in your field or discipline
- Undertake a series of online career learning experiences that activate a number of employability skills
- Evidence your skill development through reflection and evaluation
- Plan future career development goals through a 'Career Plan'
This unit focuses on you as a developing professional in a changing future world of work. It requires you to consider your current experiences, knowledge, and skills in relation to those valued by employers in your discipline or field. As part of your reflective development, you will investigate and analyse your graduate industry or study area, identify current job profiles, and complete a series of career learning experiences that offer you personalised opportunities to build evidence for a number of employability skills. You will plan for the next stages of your skill development and explore contemporary methods for communicating and showcasing your employability.
