About this subject

  • On successful completion of the subject you will be able to:

    1. Interpret the professional values that influence your professional practice and contribute to legal and ethical decision-making
    2. Reflect in practice in a professional role, the responsibilities regarding legal and ethical decision-making
    3. Analyse how educational, contextual, political and economic factors may influence legal and ethical decision-making within health care
    4. Communicate knowledge of clients’ rights, and the right of competent clients to be active participants in decision-making about their care, and how this may be achieved
