About this subject

  • On successful completion of the subject you should be able to:

    1. develop an in–depth knowledge and critical appreciation of the existing research literature and current practice in relation to the chosen area of your research/project
    2. plan and execute a substantial research-based project
    3. demonstrate technical and communication skills that reflect knowledge and expertise in the specialist area of practice
    4. deliver a presentation of the project findings to the school research seminar presentations
    5. provide a report in the form of either a journal article for project students or an organisational report for internship students.

SHP632 Applied Health Research Methods is a mandatory pre-requisite to this year-long subject SHP603 Applied Health Services Project.
Students are unable to self-enrol in SHP603. Enrolment must be via review by the Academic Chair to ensure successful completion of SHP632 and to discuss the project.
