About this subject

  • On successful completion, you will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate insight into central issues in contemporary personality research within a global context
    2. Learn of the variety of approaches to the study of personality, and their relevance to understanding psychopathology, everyday life, and research.
    3. Develop and communicate a personal viewpoint on an array of personality psychology issues through writing and peer discussion
    4. Critically evaluate and synthesise relevant personality literature in a written essay.

    Students who have an Academic Standing of Suspension or Exclusion under Macquarie University's Academic Progression Policy are not permitted to enrol in OUA units offered by Macquarie University. Students with an Academic Standing of Suspension or Exclusion who have enrolled in units through OUA will be withdrawn.
