Project management is the process of leading the work of a team to achieve specified goals and outcomes in a specified time. This subject provides necessary skills and techniques to manage small or medium-sized information technology projects, with strong focus on the analytical side of project management, referring to scheduling, cost, and resource management, as well as the 'people' and client management issues that must be dealt with in order to ensure successful projects. In the subject you will work in a team to cover the skills required to assess, identify and manage risks to projects, to prepare realistic plans and appropriate documentation, track activities across project schedules and report appropriately to stakeholders. Your team's project will be assessed at different stages.
