Throughout your studies to date, you’ve learned how to program a computer. You should already be very familiar with the basic building blocks of computer programs: variables, loops, branching structures, functions, and the like. This subject will focus on tools and techniques for software development, the process of designing, delivering, and maintaining high-quality software. You will develop substantially complex software using design patterns in the C++ programming language, and you will learn about the realities of software development from industry experts.
- Programming assignment 2 (1000 words equivalent). (25%)
- Programming assignment 3 (1000 words equivalent) (30%)
- Programming assignment 1 (500 words equivalent). (15%)
- 2-hour exam focused on software development concepts and practice (2000 words equivalent). (30%)
