About this subject
On successful completion you will be able to:
- Critical analysis of documents and contexts by reflecting on and synthesising complex information, concepts, and theories informed by equitable and ethical practices.
- Apply education theory, concepts and models to workplace learning and practice that reflect changing global and local circumstances.
- Design creative approaches to address events/issues in workplace settings taking local and international perspectives into account.
- Exploring Global Influences in ECE
- Problem Solving Strategies in EC Workplace Settings
- Ethical & Equitable Work Practices
- Becoming a Global Early Childhood Practitioner
This subject enhances abilities to work in the globalising world equitably and ethically. You will investigate different contexts and policies with the aim of improving learning through professional practice.
- Part A: Critical analysis Diagnostic task (200 words) (10%). This assessment task will be undertaken within the first 2 weeks of the term. Part B: Critical analysis (1800 words) (40%) (50%)
- Work based Learning Inquiry. (2000 words) (50%)
