About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Analyse the start-up formation process, examine the entrepreneurial qualities, and impact of the context and emerging trends.
    2. Critically analyse a business venture or opportunity by examining the offerings, processes and practices to achieve social and financial outcomes.
    3. Develop and apply entrepreneurship validation tools to justify the merit and values of an entrepreneurial idea or innovative solution to customer or business problems.
    4. Effectively communicate an entrepreneurial idea or solution in a professional manner to diverse audiences.

To enrol in this subject you must be accepted into one of the following degrees:

  • LAT-ART-DEG-2025 - Bachelor of Arts
  • LAT-AHS-DEG-2025 - Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Health Sciences
  • LAT-PYS-DEG-2025 - Bachelor of Psychological Science
  • LAT-BUS-DEG-2025 - Bachelor of Business

Prerequisites: Students must have completed 180 credit points.
Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed BUS3ENX (Entrepreneurship) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
