About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Predict how the nervous, muscle, endocrine and gastrointestinal systems of the human body function both during normal physiological conditions and under pathological stress
    2. Analyse and integrate experimentally-obtained physiological data with knowledge of basic physiological principles
    3. Effectively and professionally communicate physiological principles, experimental observations and the conclusions drawn from them.

Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed HBS2PTA (Human Physiology Theory A), HBS2PTB (Human Physiology Theory B) or PAM2HP1 (Human Physiology 1) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
