About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will obtain:

    1. an overview of the role of mental health and offending in the forensic mental health client population
    2. an understanding of the aims and utility of the key treatments in forensic mental health
    3. awareness of key issues in the delivery and use of these treatments with forensic mental health population
    4. skills in evaluating key strategies from the treatments presented during the Session
    5. increased ability to be self-reflective of practice in field of forensic mental health.
