The Learning Cycle: Design and Curriculum

About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. construct curriculum, assessment, feedback and evaluation designs by applying a design approach that is structured on learning cycle frameworks
    2. demonstrate knowledge of assessment, feedback and evaluation modes and practices in tertiary contexts
    3. develop learning sequences demonstrating an understanding of specific aspects of effective teaching and/or learning support methods and student learning
    4. appraise one's own learning and teaching practice based on critical reflection in light of key concepts, research and theories of learning and teaching in higher education settings
    5. integrate knowledge of contemporary university learners and learner diversity in teaching practice and learning design and development.

Study load

0.125 EFTSL
