• What you'll learn

  At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

  1. develop a knowledge base of the literacy practices, programs and approaches for teaching English to children in junior primary
  2. critique and contest current theories and issues in teaching English to a linguistically diverse group of children in junior primary
  3. analyse effective teaching of language, literature and literacies curriculum for a diverse group of junior primary children
  4. design and create learning experiences which link theory and practice for effective teaching of language, literature and literacies for junior primary children.
