About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. articulate a research topic or problem and carry out a coherent plan for a research/ creative practice project
    2. find and understand varieties of scholarly literature, materials and sources relevant to the research
    3. analyse scholarly literature and materials relevant to the research or creative practice and apply findings in the research project plan
    4. develop scholarly or professional communication skills sufficient to express and manage complex ideas and arguments
    5. demonstrate advanced understanding of cultural, creative and/or technical aspects of the research area

2. Master of Human Rights AND have completed at least 100 credit points (or 4 subjects) before enrolling in this subject;
3. Master of Art (Creative Writing) AND have completed at least 200 credit points (or 8 subjects, including COM605 Planning an Arts Research Project) before enrolling in this subject;
4. Master of Art (Digital Communications) AND have completed at least 200 credit points (or 8 subjects, including COM605 Planning an Arts Research Project) before enrolling in this subject;
5. Master of Art (Fine Art) AND have completed at least 200 credit points (or 8 subjects, including COM605 Planning an Arts Research Project) before enrolling in this subject;
6. Master of Art (Professional Writing and Publishing) AND have completed at least 200 credit points (or 8 subjects, including COM605 Planning an Arts Research Project) before enrolling in this subject.
