About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. use current research to analyse how a diversity of learners can be accommodated in the learning environment
    2. create a personal learning management plan that comprises and synthesises philosophy, theory and practical strategies
    3. engage and interact with students, parents/carers, schools, communities, professional networks and critique their roles within these interconnected relationships
    4. research and analyse specific strengths-based strategies to engage meaningful learning

To enrol in this subject you must be accepted into one of the following degrees:

Core

  • CUR-SEC-MAS-2024 - Master of Teaching (Secondary Education)

Elective

  • CUR-EDU-GCE-2024 - Graduate Certificate in Education

Additional requirements

  • Other requirements -

    Access to Microsoft Office or a unit approved alternative, access to video creation and editing software.

Study load

0.125 EFTSL
This is in the range of 10 to 12 hours of study each week.
