Interior Lighting Design
About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- create a spatial lighting concept relating to the lived experience of human inhabitation
- develop sustainable and innovative lighting design solutions for a small-scale interior project
- apply appropriate techniques to achieve specific lighting design objectives
- document and apply basic assessment of a lighting system.

This subject provides an introduction to principles of interior lighting design and its application techniques in order to develop fundamental specialist knowledge. Special focus is given to the exploration of various aspects of human inhabitation and lived experience in the built environment - well-being, comfort, perception and colour - through the implementation and use of science and technology.
