About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate knowledge of the humanities and social sciences and science curricula and principles associated with effective teaching in the early years as outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework and the Australian Curriculum
    2. research and justify the use of an inquiry based approach to learning in the humanities and social sciences and science curriculum areas for a diversity of learners
    3. develop appropriate content, assessment items, teaching strategies and resources related to the Australian Curriculum for a nominated age group
    4. reflect on and appraise professional knowledge and student learning as applicable to the humanities and social sciences and science curriculum areas

  • CUR-MTE-MAS-2024 - Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)

Elective

  • CUR-EDU-GCE-2024 - Graduate Certificate in Education
