About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- formulate a research question appropriate to the student's field of study
- formulate an appropriate research methodology
- apply ethical principles and scientific integrity in the design of the research
- critically review literature on the chosen topic.
- A week-by-week guide to the topics you will explore in this subject will be provided in your study materials.
Independent research. Submission of a project proposal including an Ethics application (if applicable). Proposal to include aims, objectives and/or hypothesis; statement of significance; brief literature review; detailed methodology; ethical implications if appropriate; timeline and budget.
