About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. establish and explain how to support and promote diverse children's nutritional needs and the impact of nutrition on health and wellbeing across the early years and the lifespan 
    2. apply discipline knowledge about health, safety and physical development to the holistic development of children
    3. appraise and evaluate motor skills, teaching strategies and legislative requirements to support a diversity of children (including with disability) with varied growth and development across the early childhood years
    4. plan, develop, design and assess motor learning programs to maximise children’s motor control and motor learning through movement, exercise and physical activity interventions

To enrol in this subject you must be accepted into one of the following degrees:

  • CUR-MTE-MAS-2025 - Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)

Additional requirements

  • Other requirements - Access to Microsoft Office or a unit approved alternative. Access to video creation and editing software.

Study load
