The subject examines the environment for international trade and investment, particularly political, social, economic, technological, environmental and other factors that influence strategic firm-level plans and senior management decisions about a firms cross-border trade and investment activities. Students will be required to understand relevant macro-level international trade and investment theories and the global system and issues surrounding the conduct of international business from an organisational strategy and operational perspective.
