About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. Describe and differentiate the main features of a variety of personal and business insurance products, including basic related policy documentation and taxation issues.
    2. Develop and present fundamental personal and small business risk management strategies, under guidance, including the use of general and life insurance products.
    3. Apply professional and ethical standards and insurance regulation and legislation, under guidance, in the context of providing risk management and insurance advice.
    4. Evaluate contemporary issues in risk management and insurance advice.
