About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and principles associated with effective teaching for 5 to 8 year-old children
    2. analyse and interpret mathematical data to make judgements on mathematical understanding
    3. effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding students' mathematical learning
    4. demonstrate the ability to plan appropriate mathematics content, assessment items, teaching strategies and resources for diverse learners

  • CUR-MTE-MAS-2025 - Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)

Elective

  • CUR-EDU-GCE-2025 - Graduate Certificate in Education
