About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- research and explain the relevant issues and the strategies available to support the safe, responsible and ethical use of creative technologies in learning environments
- investigate strategies that support students’ cyber wellbeing and safety within school and/or system, curriculum and legislative requirements when engaging with web-based technologies
- develop a strategic approach, informed by theory and practice, for using creative technologies to expand learning opportunities for learners
- plan for differentiated learning experiences to meet the needs of learners across the full range of abilities using creative technologies
- identify and evaluate appropriate sources of ongoing professional learning to enhance the use of creative technologies in learning environments

This subject will examine the role of creative technologies in effective teaching and learning. Students will formulate their own plans for the use of creative technologies that support a diversity of learners in a safe, responsible and ethical manner. A focus of this subject is planning for ongoing professional learning in the incorporation of creative technologies in educational settings.
